11/9/2023 0 Comments My list appOne of the major let downs for me is that the “add to list” and “favorite” buttons are not immediately visible like on the website and other 3rd party apps. The app has been a long time coming and so I am grateful to have it, but I find I still use the website more because the app needs work. We hope that you will continue to enjoy MyAnimeList and our app! We agree that many minor polishes are still needed to make the app feels more complete and we’re hoping to work on those with time. Thank you for your honest and supportive feedback. Thanks for this app, and Good luck on the future of the app. Marketing the app better would be a suggestion too, considering I only heard of it through its initial release when the release post on the forums was on the front page. I hope development continues though since this is a really useful accessory to MAL, and since it’s release a few months ago I haven’t heard much so I hope it’s still having care put into it. but I’ve used this app a lot more than I thought and is really a one-up over the sluggish website on web (on a phone), even with some missing features. Understandably there are many suggestions, complaints, etc. I think it was a fine move to put the app out in its current state, while there are still many QOL, minor, major updates and improvements, to have the app in a working state, still nice & built, is incredibly useful. Beyond that glaring issue, solid 8/10 setup and certainly useful appĪ good start, bright future, good move to put it out now in a usable state although unfinished. A dedicated option for it will allow for a more free flowing wave of takes in various shows that will either pull in new viewers or push them away, and I would like to see a more broad based setup of them rather than the typical 4chan style ‘only popular posts stay up’ because that’s what I’ve been noticing with reviews that are up-it’s only the ones with significant attention. I find this same issue applies to the manga section as well. No dedicated write review option, and apparently there is supposed to be one under the review option. I want to write a review on a particular show so many of the detractors will understand or at least acknowledge the sub theme of the show, however, I’m only able to look at other people’s reviews they’ve written. You need a dedicated ‘write review’ button on the shows listed. While it is helpful to have a dedicated list that branches across multiple streaming platforms for programming, I have one key issue I want to address for the people at MAL.
